Mrs Shahista Sheikh is Co-Founder and Company Secretary of Sheikh & Co Solicitors Limited. She assisted Mr Sajid Sheikh in establishing the firm in May 1997 and played a primary and vital role in turning Sheikh and Co from an unknown entity into a prosperous and reputable L.S.C Franchised Immigration Law Firm.

From 1997 to 2000 Shahista actively implemented and dealt with all aspects of managerial and organisational procedures. Her role was streamlined to Planning & Finance Manager in 2001. Shahista continues to assist the Managing Director with evaluating business goals in order to craft a legal strategy to help realise and protect those goals. Shahista compiles, verifies and analyses financial and research data, reports and projects for the Managing Director. She also monitors and assesses the financial implications of strategic decisions made, which can be critical to the Firms success or failure.

Shahista has a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance (1986) enabling her with a wide knowledge of business administration, office organisation, accounting methods and people and communication skills. She has worked at Mr Sajid Sheikh's law practice based in India where she gained a practical knowledge of the English/Indian law and organisational procedures. Shahista has also worked for the Inland Revenue SchD/Corporation Tax Department and has good background knowledge of U.K Tax Rules and Regulations.
