Joined Sheikh & Co in November 1999 whilst still undertaking her Law degree at University College Northampton. Nafisa initially trained in all areas of Business Management/Administration and Immigration Law casework under the supervision of Sajid Sheikh as his trainee assistant. After successfully completing her LL.B Degree with 2:1 Honours, Nafisa now commits her time fully to heading Sheikh & Co's impressive Finance Department. Nafisa has knowledge and experience of the Legal Services Commission's requirements in relation to billing and financial aspects. She supervises the Billing clerks and ensures that files are billed accurately in line with LSC rules and procedures. She also deals with all aspects of payment to barristers, interpreters, medical and country experts etc., guaranteeing the smooth operation of the firm. She has extensive knowledge of the firm's computer Legal Accounts program and provides support and training to all staff members. Nafisa also holds an H.N.D in Business and Finance (1994) from Oxford Brookes University. She previously worked at Nationwide Building Society's Head Office as part of the Mortgage Operations Team providing support to Financial Consultants and customer's, which has added to her credentials allowing her to carry out her role of Head of Finance with great efficiency.
