Mr Shahid played an important part in the founding of Sheikh & Co in 1997. He is a Director and member of Sheikh & Co Solicitors Limited. Mr Shahid is a Registered Foreign Lawyer of the Law Society of England and Wales . He is also a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa ( India ). He is the driving force behind the success of the associated offices of Sheikh & Co in India . He started his career with Mr Sajid Sheikh as a trainee lawyer in India and then went on to become a successful lawyer on his own merit. In 1991 he took over Mr Sheikh's law office in central India . In 1986 he successfully obtained a degree in Commerce before embarking on a law degree. He obtained his law degree from Nagpur University ( India ) and was included on its merit list.
