Susana Benidir successfully obtained a training contract at Sheikh & Co. Solicitors and progressed to qualify as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, having been trained by the firm's partners. She was assigned to head the firm's west London branch in Southall in November 2002, where she has responsibility for the legal and administrative work carried out within the branch. Susana has played an integral part in the firm's continuous commitment to train fee-earners and legal representatives with her hands-on techniques. She takes personal interest in training staff to achieve the over-all goal of the firm, which is to offer quality service to clients. Susana specializes in immigration law with an emphasis on asylum matters. She has an active interest in human rights issues and considerable experience in dealing with cases where a proactive approach is not only sought-after but is just and appropriate. She deals with a wide range of immigration issues, including individuals' applications and the family aspects thereof, concessions under the legislation, welfare benefits to immigrants and other visa regimes. Susana's widespread knowledge of immigration law began at the principal office of Sheikh & Co, where she advised and represented a large number of Yugoslavian, Columbian, Turkish and Ecuadorian clients.
